Moricetown Ice Tower
This winter community members and tourists alike can enjoy 50-feet of icy climbing fun at the Moricetown Ice Tower!
Our community now has one of only three Ice Climbing Towers in all of North America thanks to the hard work of the Icount High School staff and students. The tower is located on the school grounds along with an outdoor Skating Rink and a warm Quonset Hut for changing. There is also a kitchen where students can sell snacks and hot and cold beverages to climbers. With well trained staff guiding you up, the Tower is safe for youth and adults alike.
The Moricetown Ice Tower is operated by Icount Services, the business extension of the Icount School. We are proud to say that our youth are getting invaluable working experience that correspond with the learning outcomes of the Icount Program. Icount Services has also constructed outdoor workout equipment as another healthy activity for free community use. Icount has been granted the exclusive contract to sell the workout equipment to First Nations communities across Canada.
